Advantage: remote. I'm in Mcdo and my office is steps away. Very convenient.
disadvantage: when you're waiting for the turn of the others since you have to complete a task dependent on the person.

Advantage: convenience. as long as you have a laptop, or a computer and internet connection, you are already part of the class.

disadvantage: participation. not everyone can actively participate. and also, in terms of technology, if you dont have a fast net access, you need to really catch up. lack of focus i guess.

Online class advantages: saves travel time. can utilize the more "high-tech" features of facebook
Disadvantage: it takes time for others to reply. slow internet connection.

I will ensure that my blog/linked in are properly updated and easily accessed.

Advantages:
For people who come from far places, we are able to make our time more productive. Especially on a Friday night, I am able to spend the time learning instead of sitting in traffic.

Disadvantage:
It was quite confusing switching from one window to another.

3. Make sure that my brand on line is simple and integrated.

Advantages: provides flexibility and mobility. No need to go to school so we can save on gas and eventually reduce our greenhouse emission effectively saving the environment.

Disadvantages: no face to face thus sometimes its impersonal, internet connection is still a problem, there is a need to refresh the page often.

Overall, it was an interesting experience, but if there is a more stable platform to do this, it would be better.

advantages: no need to suffer from grueling traffic madness specially on a long weekend payday friday! can work on your phase.

disadvantages: cyberspace traffic since everyone is accessing the same site (or maybe its just my internet connection). prone to temptation / distraction - lack of focus

1. Advantage: Opportunity for comfort (can choose place to go online...coffee shop, home, office), which can also be coincided with your personal schedule.

2. Disadvantage: Technological problems (slow internet connection. Opportunity for discomfort (long tasks can cause back and neck pain, eye strain). Open to distractions (no apparent boundaries / rules).

3. I will make sure that my brand on-line has variety (eases boredom, monotony of tasks)

1. advantages: very convenient, you can participate in class discussions and activities via the internet. you can multitask - while being online, you can finish whatever task you need to accomplish so long as the quality of output doesn't suffer from participating in online class.

2. disadvantages: finding a good place with wifi seems to be a challenge. more students would have the tendency to be absent and not participate in class discussions which defeats the purpose of learning from one another. they can use "bad internet connection" as a reason to be absent.

3. be more visible by updating blogs and creating personal links.

1. Advantage - We did not have to go to class (physically) which wwas down right AWESOME

2. Disadvantage - quite confusing at first because we had to open so many links

Advantages: Flexibility (you can be anywhere as long as you have internet access) and Efficiency (time & cost-savings).
Disadvantages: Easily distracted since no one's watching, slow connection is irritating, staring at you monitor for 3 hours isn't fun.
Personal Brand Online: ensure quality of content and should be pleasing to the eye as well; it could be accessed by anyone so better be ready for constructive criticism.

Advantage: flexible and convenient, allows us to think things through without the added pressure in class

Disadvantage: messages get buried under one another so you have to track back and it gets confusing

For my personal brand, I'd ensure that the website loads quickly and that it's not confusing to the user.
